Being a heartless Libertarian ™ and a follower of blogs written by other such types, the plight of a certain Amusing Bunni has been drawn to my attention. The full story is obviously on their blog, but in short they’ve been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and not long to live. Cancer is never good news and in the states it’s also quite expensive, so please go over to their blog and donate a few cents to help them out. The inestimable Leg Iron is auctioning his fine hand crafted smoking man’s ride so you could always go on bid on that instead/as well.
Being the heartless Libertarian ™ type who also was uncouth enough to go to University when you still got grant’s I’m just donating as we lost our Chaplin to liver cancer and it’s not a particularly nasty way to go – so this is for you Dazza.
Update just thought I’d share this comment from Bunni left on Leg Iron’s Journal:
“Leggy! Thank you so much for your post! I appreciate your caring about me and helping me in such an artistic and unique way. I am truly honored. To give of yourself so generously is very heartwarming, and I am blessed to have such a great friend.
Please post a piccy of your masterpiece when it is done. Also, let me know the email addy and name of the person who ultimately wins it, so I know who to look out for on my paypal notification list of donations! I wish people would leave notes on the donation, because it publishes the email addy they use, and their real names. 75% of the people who help me, I don’t know their screen name or the email, and I don’t know “who’s who”, so to speak. There is their name, and then I can’t figure out who they are! Well, they all are generous saints in my book. People I’ve never met, and who I don’t even know if they read my blog, or how they found me, and being so generous! One of life’s great mysteries.
I can honestly say my death will be more peaceful, knowing I’m loved and cared for so much by our world of bloggers! I could never feel alone or ignored with all of you on my side.
Thank you and have a fun weekend, raise several drinkies on my behalf! Cheers.”
