Denmark bounded in a nutshell

Rather startling news from the Orphans of Liberty it seems utterly unreported by the mainstream media, Denmark has suspended the Schengen treaty. “Denmark has suspended the Schengen treaty and re-introduced controls at its borders with Germany and Sweden. It was announced by the country’s Finance Minister, Claus Hjort Frederiksen.” It’ll be interesting to see how this develops and if Denmark remains alone in it’s move. +1-1

Catching up on other people blogs, I feel I’ve been terribly remiss and caught out by the very things I’ve railed about. Having bemoaned our lack of knowledge of own history and the celebration of “Europe-day” I forgot about VE day (for much the same reasons as LegIron) and didn’t even know about Liberation day . So I’m very glad that other people remembered next year maybe I’ll do better and remember both. 0-1

A year of ConDem Nation

So a year ago today the country got rid of the pox that was Gordon Brown (and he’s only been back to parliament once despite being re-elected). So what’s happened since then, well we’re onto our second consultation about repealing laws with no laws yet repealed* (we obviously asked for the wrong ones to be repealed last time so they’ll keep asking till we give the right answer).
