I see no cuts

I’m going to be banging on about our supposed cuts yet again and the rather troublesome financial mess we may be in, and I suspect I’m going to keep doing so at least until we stop digging. All those terribly terribly harsh cuts didn’t stop our net deficit growing to 10 billion last month, nor is it stopping the EU giving away another billion (just Euro’s this time) for people to build robot pets and nagware. Denmark bounded in a nutshell

Rather startling news from the Orphans of Liberty it seems utterly unreported by the mainstream media, Denmark has suspended the Schengen treaty. “Denmark has suspended the Schengen treaty and re-introduced controls at its borders with Germany and Sweden. It was announced by the country’s Finance Minister, Claus Hjort Frederiksen.” It’ll be interesting to see how this develops and if Denmark remains alone in it’s move. +1-1

Happy Europe day

I know it’s almost over and everyone else and their dog has already probably said everything that needs to be said, and certainly I’m going to add precious little new to the debate. All that said it would seem remiss to not give at least a passing nod to the event.
