That time of year again

I’m on the last page of my calendar and so it dawns on me that we’re at that time of year again, when smug adverts from the government will have “friendly” cartoon chaps or amusing eccentric types telling us that handing over vast chunks of our money for the government to piss up the wall is actually quite a pleasant thing to do. The EU our allies

There’s an awful lot being talked about the EU at the moment, apparently due to some budgetary discussion or other, it seems that due to the large number of well paid terribly clever people running everything for us over in Brussels that it simply isn’t possible to shave a single penny* of the budget lest the sky fall in. Credit where credit’s due

In the past I haven’t been shy of giving the whole occupy movement a hard time, and i still think that much of what they do is ill thought out, inconsistent and rather ludicrous.
