Reality lag

I do hope you’ll indulge me in a lightly referenced post, but having just watched the BBC news I have a slight need to rant. Plus if you read many of the blogs I link to you’ll already be aware of many of the things I’ll mention. Peak oil may be delayed again

It seems these days fuel and energy stories are never far from the headlines. This week that nice Mr Cameron panicked people into causing fuel shortages by warning them that if there was a strike that affected oil delivery it might be well to be prepared. Last week in turns out that to the nearest whole number the contribution made by Wind power is zero. Then going back a bit further we had numerous scare stories about Oil fracking in the UK. All about the fuel

I imagine this is old news and I am in fact way behind the curve as usual, but it’s amazing what you can discover when browsing Homebrew sites*. On the day that wind power being a bit crap starts making waves** I discovered that since 2007 it’s been legal to run your own still to produce up to 2,500 litres of spirits for use in BioFuels.
