#alcoholaware2012 – dry January no thanks

Just as No-Smoking day became no smoking month, so the puritans and killjoys are following up Alcohol awareness week with “Dry January”. Credit where credit’s due

In the past I haven’t been shy of giving the whole occupy movement a hard time, and i still think that much of what they do is ill thought out, inconsistent and rather ludicrous. Censor the internet for the cheeeldren!

Internet filtering once more being pushed by the powers that be according to the Inquirer. Not going for out right censorship this time though, nope this time it’s for the children (as allegedly parents have been crying out to have the state block naughty things for their precious off spring as they can’t be arsed). So when you sign up to an ISP they’ll have to quiz you on who’s in your house and then encourage you to accept a suitable level of censorship.
