Supporting Octabber

Sticking to my normal tradition of being so far behind the times I’m permanently retro I thought I should probably direct you all towards Octabber before it actually arrives. As is so often the case the existence of this excellent idea came across my path via the ever erudite LegIron. It seems that “no smoking day” is no longer enough and October is to be declared non-smoking month. Something a bit random

In case anyone’s been wondering I’ve not given up just work has been busy and at this time of year the garden needs a lot of attention (on which more later). Diverting from politics for a little bit and turning to something I know a bit more about, namely IT. Olympic Round up

With phase one of the Olympics over here’s a bit of a round up of the nonsense that’s being going on. No much by way of good news for the official sponsors over at Just Drinks Beer drinkers and pubs all over seem to be unhappy with the brand police judging by Real ale up north (And let’s not mention the GBBF being shunted from Earls Court to the smaller venue at Olympia for some sporting thing or other).
