Losing the battle already

I know I shouldn’t extrapolate from a few face book comments to tar an entire group with the same broad brush, but this recent post to the CAMRA group on face book convinces me that some people really aren’t paying attention. This blog would like to make it clear how very proud it is not to be an Olympic sponsor for the London 2012 games this summer. Following what must surely become known as chip gate the level of paranoia exhibited by the official sponsors turns out to exceed that of our security forces. Though of course they haven’t tried to put missiles on to nearby tower blocks to pre-emptively remove any unauthorised advertising, t-shirt, snack. The Guardian serenade

Having mentioned the “Yo Soy 132” protests the other day I thought I should do a little bit of a follow up, as they’ve now serenaded the Guardian. As the elections are this weekend the BBC seem to have finally decided it’s worth some coverage, though still not mentioning the protests. The Guardian does better and even mentions the student demo’s and the name of the movement, though don’t seem to want to mention the serenade.
