In this time of austerity and belt tightening, I thought it might be nice to turn to the wisdom of Mrs Beaton to brighten the day with her much neglected recipe for richer pancakes. You won’t see cooking like this from Jamie Oliver, Jack Monroe and co. Stupidity in political memes

I know that raging against stupidity on the internet is a pointless exercise and best avoided, and I’ve no great love for Monsanto. However I’ve not yet met a windmill I won’t tilt against, so humour me on this.
