Wikileaks again

Following the on going saga of the actions taken against both Wikileaks and Julian Assange personally, he has now been arrested and denied bail despite turning up to court voluntarily and realistically probably not being much of a flight risk. Which does make one wonder about the reasons for such action when serveral people offered surety and to cover the bail. Considering Wikileaks

Wikileaks has today released what is reportedly a fairly obvious list of facilities that the US considers to be of strategic importance. Which to me raises the question of what purpose the leak serves. Wikileaks presents itself as serving public interest, but what public interest is there in releasing the sort of list that anyone who was interested in could probably produce on their own? Anna Raccoon is highlighting the plight of Stephen Neary a 20 year old man with Autism who’s been wrenched from the care of his Father and is rapidly vanishing into the darkness that is the “care” of the court of protection.
