Breaking what’s becoming far too frequent radio silence, and I do apologise for that but life keeps happening, to mutter about John Snowdons revelations. I’m going to try and do the tricky thing and not talk about Mr Snowdon or his plight but concentrate on what he revealed. It’s still not equality

Catching up on the news that’s happened whilst I’ve been traveling I note that the marriage “equality” bill has got through the lords. I put equality in quotes as it still doesn’t provide equality as I muttered about earlier. Apparently the evil wrecking amendment would extend civil partnerships to heterosexual couples, yep in a bill for equality asking that it actually deliver equality should be rejected because it would delay things and cost too much, cost not being a concern that I’ve noticed for the bill as it stood. Do you really support protecting all sub cultures against hate crime?

My friends feed continues to be full of people rejoicing at Greater Manchester police not treating everyone as equal before the law, and calling for the extension of hate crime legislation to include alternative subcultures and as the Sophie Lancaster campaign says: “To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people from alternative subcultures or Lifestyle and Dress.” The press is even being terribly glad about it and people are writing articles praising this new attack on equality.
